sarah long

I think sarah long is from perth, australia? I don't know very much about sarah yet, but this is really great, and possibly my favourite interpretation of the hunt. it's called T2N1M? (leukocytes hunting metastatising tumour cell).

pete long

pete long is this amazing illustrator living in perth, australia. some of you might have seen pete draw, since he's done some live-art kind of stuff, and so you'll understand what I mean when I say I am so totally jealous of anyone who can draw with that kind of confidence in their linework.

ethos?

here are some things I know about hawks and hounds that I didn't know before.

1. so, basically, h&h is about how people do things in their spare time, on their own, that they don't share with other people. when you sit down to draw something, for example, it's a really internal moment, and I think this is a really important part of every day life. without these hobbies, or creative outlets, or collections, or whatever it is you do, everything would be really dull.

2. whether you've turned you're hobbie/creative outlet/collection/etc into your profession, or it remains as a bit of escapism or expression outside your day job, send it to me! if it's the former then not only have you achieved something admirable, but you are kind of like a success story and a symbol of hope for anyone who wishes to do the same. if it's the latter, then I'm even more interested because I'm nosey, and so is the human race.

3. I love you all for sending me things to put into this. and totally appreciate your support and excitement about the idea.
